De Kwakel is a village of its own inside the municipality of Uithoorn, around 4,800 residents, postcode 1424. It began as peat reclamation and turned to horticulture early last century: the first greenhouse went up in 1927 and the rest followed the land consolidation of 1973. That history is still in the street plan, with the Chrysantenlaan, Gerberalaan and Hortensialaan next to the old ribbon roads of the Drechtdijk, the Boterdijk and the Poelweg.

We can cap it off, decommission it, or separate it permanently on the drinking water side. What we will not do is connect the two circuits: that is prohibited and it is the fastest way to contaminate a village supply. Mention the circuit when you call and the right material comes with us.
